“Time flies, I still remember the first time we met in Starbucks last october” – Nigel.
These are the exact words, and indeed, time really went by in a hurry. Our first consultation was over six months ago at a local coffee shop around Danforth and Pape. I still remember us talking about different things wedding related and about our appreciation of classic film photography. Last week I was honoured to document their big day. All we long, we were worried the weather will be all grey with non stop rain as “predicted” by the weather forecast. Thankfully, no one could complain about the warm and sunny weather. It couldn’t have turned out any better.
Caren has the sweetest smile I’ve seen and Nigel’s charisma is unmatched of, together they make the perfect couple. The couple has been together for quite a few years and finally signed the papers not long ago. Last saturday, they performed all the traditional Chinese ceremony and hosted their wedding banquet with some of their best family and friends.
Caren waiting and watching the traditional door games through facetime.
After the games came to an end, the couple had to pay tribute to the elderly with the traditional tea ceremony.
After the traditional Chinese dress, Caren got into her wedding dress.
Since the actual wedding ceremony was not held on the day of, we spent more time in a local park and Main St, Unionville with a very fun portrait session.
After our portrait session, we headed over to the banquet hall La Rosa’s La Rosa Room in Markham to host their wedding reception.
Caren and Nigel, thanks for letting me witness the happiness to your new beginning. Have tons of fun with your honeymoon in Greece!
Also big thanks to the supporting crew, Rocky and Kevin. Without you guys, I could not have pulled off the SDE slideshow.
