20130520sse004 Engagement | Susam and Sky

A couple of years ago, Sky was the MC at Caren and Nigel‘s wedding. I remember him saying he’ll give me a call one day. Fast forward to a couple of months ago, I received the long anticipated call from him. Susam, Sky and I met up for a few dinners and drinks and after many laughing around, we went off to shoot their first engagement session. The major idea revolved around walls with textures, and there’s no better place then the Evergreen Brick Works. After many goofing around and having tons of fun, we came out with tons of photos.

 Engagement | Clare and Rembert

Years ago, two little kids were innocently attending an elementary school and little did they know this very place is where their love journey began. Clare and Rembert were school mates back in the days and it wasn’t until their high school years when they started to grow on to each other. Toronto Downtown Engagement | Tracy and James | September 2012

It’s always nice to sneak in a nice engagement session towards the end of the wedding season. A few weeks ago, I met up with Tracy and James in Downtown Toronto exploring the different themes this great city has to offer. We hit up the Humber Bay Arch Bridge where they are a regular guest. After our nice walk and hearing about their sweet proposal story, we hit it off to the very colorful graffiti alley. It must be a memorable session for all of us as we heard gun shots. Luckily we found out the loud bang bangs we heard was just from a movie filming session nearby.

 A Golf Engagement | Grace and Ben | July 11, 2012

The second part of Grace and Ben’s engagement shoot was held at Diamondback Golf Club. When I first met them, I remember Ben talked about his passion for golf and recently having Grace addicted to the sport as well. Thus we knew this was going to be a special place for them. When I first arrived at the club, I was greeted by Ben whom just finished his round. Shortly Grace joined us and we started driving around the course and having some fun.

Hamilton Waterfalls Engagement | Grace and Ben | July 2, 2012

When I met Grace and Ben a month ago, we hit it off pretty fast. One of my first questions was, where would you like your ideal engagement photo session to take place? They immediately replied with two answers, first being”waterfalls”. The second answer is to be revealed later.  We began researching on different waterfalls in Hamilton that we liked. The coolest thing was the love birds even went to scout the different falls for me. We eventually decided on Albion Falls and Tiffany Falls. We arrived super early to ensure we had the place to ourselves and to experience the serene nature both falls had to offer.
