Many years ago, I used to attend North Toronto Chinese Baptist Church on a regular basis and it’s a special feeling “coming home”. It’s always nice to go back and see familiar faces and meeting new ones. A couple of months ago, Winnie and Jeffrey met for a few hours sipping coffee and having our engagement session. Finally the day came and the two finally tied the knot this past saturday. Since they both belong to North Toronto Chinese Baptist Church, it’s only suitable that they get married there. I think one of the best experiences of a wedding photographer is to witness a loving couple tie their knot while seeing all their friends and family come together and helping them in every way possible. This is exactly what I’ve seen at their wedding.
Kevin and I started off the day covering Winnie and her girls while Catty covered the guys. After getting blessed and showered with gifts at the traditional tea ceremony, Winnie slipped into her wedding dress and made their way to the church. At the church, they were married by Reverend Hui. After their beautiful ceremony, we slipped in a portrait session along the streets at Richmond Hill before enjoying a fun filled night at Riviera Parque.
Below are a few of of my favourite photos from the day. Big thanks to Catty and Kevin for the assistance.
